I am very grateful for TenderCare Child Care Center and their caring, nurturing staff. As a single father of a baby girl I had no idea what I was doing as a parent. I knew that she was in great hands the first day she started in the infant room.  The teachers welcomed us with open arms. I was able to stop in anytime to be with my child and speak with the teachers. As my child grew and moved into new classrooms, we were greeted and treated with care by every teacher. I am given updates of my child’s day, every day, and I am always amazed with all of the new skills she is learning. I am given projects and activities to do at home with her to extend her learning and kept informed of things I can do as a parent.

TenderCare has and still goes beyond the call of duty for me and all families that attend the center. One of the most rewarding experiences that I have at TenderCare is all of the family functions parents are invited to. We are able to connect with other parents, share ideas, get resource information, and sometimes just do activities with our children. TenderCare is a great nonjudgmental learning environment for children and their parents. I am grateful to have such a wonderful place for me and my daughter.

As a parent, I entrust my greatest blessing in TenderCare’s hands. I enrolled my son in TenderCare Christian Child Care Center when he was 24 months old. I interviewed and toured approximately 6 other child care programs before coming to TenderCare. The first phone call to TenderCare was very pleasant and I was encouraged to come in for a tour.  During my tour, the staff welcomed me and introduced themselves which made me very comfortable. Ms. Bianca, the assistant director, was patient and understanding. She respected that I was a first time parent and offered her personal assistance until I was completely comfortable.

My son’s first day was harder for me than it was for him. His teacher ensured me that he was in great hands, that he would be” fine” and then handed me a tissue. TenderCare has a great learning environment that complements their curriculum. My son left TenderCare at age 4, ready and prepared for a full day of K4. His K4 teacher often complemented his skills and doted on how advanced he was and I owe all of those praises to TenderCare.  My son returns every summer for their wonderful summer program. I am glad that I made the choice to send my son to TenderCare. Their name speaks to the quality of care they provide.

I’ve always been very protective of my son. He is my only child so I am very leery of the people I keep around him. When he turned 2, I was forced to look for a child care center. I looked at 3 other centers and was distraught because none of them made me feel safe leaving my child. Then I drove past TenderCare and had a feeling that that was the place I wanted him to be. When I was given a tour, the teachers and office staff were extremely friendly and after questioning them about their policies, procedures and daily activities I was sold. My son is now 7 years old and he still attends the center on days out of school and summer.

As soon as I walked in the door of TenderCare, I knew it was the perfect place for my grandchildren. Upon entering the building there is a warm and welcoming feeling. The staff is very knowledgeable, polite, friendly, and understanding. They are some of the most respectful people that I’ve ever come across. I feel good about dropping Jeremiah off in the Little Toddler classroom because I know his experiences help him to develop more and more each day.
