The holiday season is here!  Between Thanksgiving and the end of December many of our TenderCare families will be celebrating together and with their extended family members.  If your holiday season includes celebrating Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Christmas or other celebration it feels like this time of year comes upon us so quickly.  Often the rush of the holiday season can make our lives seem like everything is inside out and upside down.  And then just as we seem to catch our breath to enjoy the season it is over.  It is hard to experience the holiday season if the preparations are overwhelming.  For me the best advice I can give, as well as to put into practice for myself, is to take a deep breath, slow down and enjoy the season with family and friends.

This year be the one to spread good cheer.  A positive approach in both your personal and work life can go a long way to bring the best out of people.  Smile all the way to your eyes.  Offer good wishes and really mean it.  Find simple reasons to enjoy the holidays.  Stay connected or reconnect with your extended families.  They are the roots of where you came from.

Celebrate the holidays in the best way that you can.  The holiday season comes only once a year-make this year count for you and your family.
